Principles of the Nordic School

  •  The school should offer a safe learning environment for the well-being and personal development of all children.
  •  The school should offer the children meaningful pedagogical activities, where care, nurturing, playing, and learning is a key focus.
  • The children should be given support in developing trust, confidence, and self-esteem.
  • Children’s inherent curiosity, ambitions and interest should be encouraged and their will and desire to learn stimulated.
  • The school should develop children’s intercultural understanding with emphasis on Tanzania.
  • The school is professionally operated with highly qualified teachers.
  • The school facilities include classrooms and equipment which can comfortably allow for the activities of the school to take place. The outdoor space provides the children with a safe and stimulating play and sports area that encourages physical activity.
